Snow clearing for private access in the Alps
Manual or machine clearing of private driveways, courtyards and car parks, with salting, on call or on a seasonal contract.
In the valley, snow removal is not a comfort service — it is what makes a property usable in winter. Private access, garage ramps, paths to the entrance and car parks fall on the owner or the landlord, not on the municipality. When nobody clears them, the building is effectively closed.
We clear courtyards, private driveways, terraces and car parks by hand or with compact machines in Megève, Combloux, Chamonix, Saint-Gervais and Servoz. We do not clear public roads: those remain with the municipality or its contractor. What we do is take responsibility for everything on your side of the boundary.
Public roads, pavements and municipal car parks are not part of the service. The contract states the snow depth that triggers an intervention and the order of priority between sites.

Do you clear at night or before the roads open?
Interventions are planned according to the contract and the weather forecast, often early morning before the first departures. Night clearing is possible for buildings with early access requirements, priced accordingly.
Is there a minimum contract?
A season runs from the first significant snowfall to the end of the winter period, usually November to March. We quote per season with a defined number of passages, or per intervention with a minimum call-out.
Can you also clear the roof?
Roof clearing is a separate, higher-risk operation that requires specific safety measures. It is assessed case by case and is not included in the ground-clearing service.
