Cookies and audience measurement
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Two different things
Hosting and security: Cloudflare processes technical data to deliver the site and protect it. This does not require your consent and does not identify you.
Audience measurement: only if you accept, a Google Analytics 4 tag measures visits. If you refuse, no analytics script is loaded and no request is sent to Google.
Cookies set with your consent
_ga — distinguishes visitors — 13 months. _ga_XXXX — keeps session state — 13 months. These cookies are set only after you press “Accept”.
Your choice
Refusing is as easy as accepting: both buttons are the same size and in the same place. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage, not a cookie) and you can change it at any time with the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
If you refuse after having accepted, the analytics cookies already set are deleted and no further request is sent.
No advertising
This site sets no advertising or social media cookie, and does not sell audiences. There is no cookie wall: the content is fully accessible whatever your choice.
